Candice Vuong 

This year is my first year of taking a sewing class EVER! I have been pushed outside of my comfort zone while learning something new. What I have learned from sewing, is to appreciate the work that designers put into creating the trends we wear. Sewing is a skill, meaning that you have to constantly learn and improve. From the beginning of the semester in February until now, I have attained many skills such as reading and working with patterns, identifying the difference between fabrics, basic stitches, stitches,and hemming.
